Biopharm compounds that are not commercialized, under-utilized or under-valued can be profiled using functional proteomic platforms. This provides a low risk, relatively low cost method to rank and characterize compounds for further pre-clinical investigations, or to out-license for indications not deemed strategic. Furthermore, this profile service may provide leads to biomarkers and further mechanistic insight to suitable disease indications. Our services do not rely on recombinant or purified proteins, but rather complex protein mixtures, with all variants contributing to data obtained from naturally derived cellular sources.

The deliverable is:

1. Functional proteomic pattern profiles, derived from the enzymatic response of naturally sourced disease tissue or cellular models.

2. A ranking of such response, to a control or normal tissue or cellular model response.

3. Additional tools and techniques to characterize the proteins most (or least) responsive to the challenge compound, priced separately.

Benefits in these areas:
• combination therapies designed for multiple targets, and pathway biology
• network pharmacology
• multi-targeted inhibitors
• on-target, off-target and safety
• personalized medicine and companion biomarkers
