Avacta’s first instrument, the Optim, is a ground breaking micro-volume protein analysis instrument. Its ability to measure light scattering and fluorescence in a high throughput manner, whilst only using tiny amounts of protein, mean that it provides our customers with a real and substantial advantage. The Optim technology has now been adopted by most of the top global biopharmaceutical companies and has a growing list of academic partners and citations, enabling them to gain greater insight at lower cost.

Enabling faster analysis and a wider range of measurement capabilities, the OPTIM 2 was launched in 2013. This new version, which benefits from enhanced software, has confirmed our position as creators of original and quality instruments.
