Celadon Laboratories, Inc. is dedicated to developing the best software available for selected life sciences applications. Founded in 1999 by Raymond J. Peterson, the company has evolved from its initial sole focus on genomics software, to becoming a broader-based developer of immunoassay analysis and quality-control software and associated applications, as well as a research and service provider in the areas of clinical genomics and modified nucleic acid chemistries.

Celadon’s simple and enduring idea since our founding is that there are many laboratory and clinical work functions that need not be so complex, time-consuming, or require high-level staffing. We believe that with high-quality software, those processes can be simplified, organized, and converted to effective algorithms that help our customers’ clinics, labs, or manufacturing facilities operate as efficiently as possible. And we strive to develop that software, with careful attention to the needs of the life science industry and our individual customers’ needs.

Our company’s software products are delivered in the cloud by subscription, or installed on your server. Our clean, easy-to-use, and effective design and analysis solutions lead their fields, and the company holds a patent for molecular assay design that is critical to the fields of medical testing, science and commerce. Celadon’s web software and science expertise, together with its advanced technologies in molecular assay design, analysis of immunoassays and molecular diagnostic kits, have put the company in a prime position for expansion into the personal healthcare services market.

Celadon’s products have been developed under contract to and in cooperation with several U.S. federal agencies – the National Cancer Institute, the Air Force, the Army, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Celadon’s first commercial product – the ProbeITy™ genomic assay design and ordering platform – was first conceived and developed nearly fifteen years ago, and since then has been improved through development work done for the NCI and several commercial customers; Celadon’s flagship products – the Responsio/ Proventus immunoassay analysis and manufacturing Quality Control suite – initially were developed under an Air Force contact in which the Company developed software for the analysis of a new type of tuberculin test for recruits.
