Resolvyx Pharmaceuticals is developing an entirely new class of medicines called Resolvins. Resolvyx Pharmaceuticals is developing an entirely new class of medicines called Resolvins. Resolvins are naturally-occurring, small molecule lipid mediators with the potential to treat a wide range of inflammatory diseases. Unlike most anti-inflammatory drugs which suppress the body's inflammatory response, Resolvins work by activating the body's own mechanisms for shutting off, or resolving, inflammation.

Initially funded in 2005, Resolvyx is the first and only company dedicated to the development of new medicines from its Resolvin platform. Pre-clinical research demonstrates that Resolvins have significant potential to treat auto-immune diseases (like Crohn's disease, rheumatoid arthritis and psorisasis), allergic diseases (like asthma) and chronic inflammatory diseases.

Through our collaboration with Celtic Therapeutics, our core focus is to develop resolvins for the treatment of a broad range of ophthalmic diseases. The lead ophthalmic resolvin program has completed a Phase 2 trial in chronic dry eye syndrome and is advancing to Phase 3 studies. Resolvyx seeks strategic partnerships for its non-ophthalmic programs allowing us to focus on developing resolvins for eye diseases.
