Cell Technology, Inc. was founded in 1998 in Minneapolis, MN and moved to SF Bay Area in 2003. The company’s product line of Apoptosis detection kits for caspases and mitochondrial membrane potential, as well as dual sensor assays (that detect both) are central to the field of Apoptosis research. We also have several fluorescent enzymatic assays for oxidative stress detection and detection of other metabolites such as NAD/H and NADP/H. In the field of chemicals, our Ultra pure ADP is finding applications in the bioluminescence due to its very low levels (<0.01%) of contaminating ATP.

Cell Technology’s aCella-TOX bioluminescent cytotoxicity assay is fast replacing the 51Cr assay currently in use for measurement of Antibody dependent cytotoxicity (ADCC), due to its ease of use, fast generation of results, reliability and robustness, and of course, the elimination of radioactivity from the workspace. Cell Technology also offers ADCC and CDC assay services using aCella-TOX or some of our other products.
