Our SF5 halide reagents can be used to replace a trifluoromethyl group on aliphatic compounds and is predicted to offer more advantageous chemical properties for medicinal drugs. AvantFluor Corporation supplies fluorine intermediates for aliphatic addition of the novel SF5 (sulfur pentafluoride) functional group onto small molecule compounds. Our SF5 halide reagents can be used to replace a trifluoromethyl group on aliphatic compounds and is predicted to offer more advantageous chemical properties for medicinal drugs.
