Transcriptic specializes in cloning and production of custom sequence verified plasmids.

Completely Web-Based Workflow

Configure your orders from inside your browser and be done within minutes. We automatically validate cloning sites, predict synthesis problems, and optimize for expression in your specified organism if applicable. Our bioinformatic platform helps to remove surprises, so you know exactly what you're getting without weeks of email back-and-forth.

Inserts can be provided by mail or synthesized (< 4 kb; restrictions apply). We maintain a library of several commercial vectors, or you can supply your own by mail or even request synthesis (< 4 kb). We can automatically select orientation and cloning sites on the vector or you can specify them yourself.

Track Your Order In Real Time

We're moving biology from something that is done over the course of weeks, 9am - 5pm, to something that is done around the clock by on-call tech staff and deeply integrated automation. Your Transcriptic dashboard is directly connected to the lab scheduling system, so you can follow your runs all the way through the process. You get direct access to audit trails and easily export any data generated (sequencing data, checkpoint imagery) to keep control of your orders.

Your order is validated and routed to production within minutes of receipt. Any exceptions encountered during the production process are handled by our on-call tech staff, and you'll be alerted via email or SMS if significant issues are encountered. Overnight shipping is automatically included for free with each order and cold-chain transport is available.
