About this supplier

In the supplier's own words, as listed in the Scientist.com network.

BrainXell supplies a portfolio of human neurons to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries for drug discovery and development. Our directed differentiation technology was invented in the laboratory of Prof. Su-Chun Zhang at the University of Wisconsin, drawing on nearly two decades of experience and research. In addition to immediately available normal neurons, we also produce neurons from customer supplied ESCs or iPSCs. Rapid maturation and high neuronal purity can be achieved through use of a proprietary supplement, which allows many experiments to begin within one week after thawing.
