Cytognomix is a biotechnology company developing and selling patented software-based solutions and reagents for clinical genomics. Current products include mutation interpretation software, DNA probe reagents and companion software to detect chromosome abnormalities at the molecular level.
Patented software for interpetation of coding and non-coding mutations present in complete genes, gene panels, exons, or genomes is available from Cytognomix itself at MutationForecaster.com. However, through Assay Depot, we offer our bespoke analysis of your human variant data using this software as a service. If companion RNASeq data are available for the same individuals from whom variants are discovered, we are also able to experimentally validate variants predicted by the software.
Our patented Single Copy (sc) technology brings precise, sensitive, and informative genetic disease management tools to advanced clinical laboratories for detection of chromosome anomalies related to genetic disease. Cytognomix designs and produces:
1. Next generation sequencing enrichment reagents for capture of (a) 21 genes associated with hereditary breast/ovarian cancer (b) 49 genes associated with chemo-resistance to gemcitabine and paclitaxel in cancer
2. Molecular cytogenetic tests using fluorescent in-situ hybridization short single copy (scFISH) DNA probes.
