LAXAI’s synthesis experience covers a broad range of chemistry type spanning from Carbocycles, Heterocycles Aromatic compounds, Carbohydrates, Nucleotides and Oligosaccharides, Peptides – up to pentamers (Solution as well as Solid phase) to Steroid and Lipids.

Medicinal chemistry services include:

· Synthesis of Building Blocks, Scaffolds and Intermediates (up to 100g) required for several novel analogues to be screened for in-vitro studies

· Synthesis of Focused Libraries (50- 200 compounds per scaffold) to optimize the pK properties of a Lead molecule.

· Synthesis of Reference Standards (typically ranging up to 5g) useful in in-vitro and in-vivo biological screens - >99% purity.

Specialty Chemistry:

· Synthesis of Isotopically Labeled Compounds (D, 13C and 15N, all cold compounds)

· Synthesis of Fluorescent Molecular Probes of Biological relevance

· Asymmetric Synthesis either via Chiral Auxiliary approach or from Chiral Pool. Kinetic resolution using Chiral catalyst (Jacobson’s catalyst)
