Neomics Co., Ltd. (Neomics) is a drug discovery & diagnostics company with a unique cancer target and biomarker discovery platform. Our focus is on novel targets and biomarkers, in particular, relevant to Aminoacyl tRNA synthetases (ARS). We have performed animal studies and clinical validations of our targets and biomarkers through a strong partnership with Medicinal Bioconvergence Research Center of Seoul National University, Samsung medical center, Daewoong Pharmaceuticals corp and Yuhan Pharmaceuticals corp. Also, we have supported and collaborated with pharma companies for companion diagnostics development activities.
Neomics was founded in 2005 to research and develop new anticancer drugs using one of ARS-interacting multi- functional proteins (AIMPs), initially those from the Research Center of Medicinal Protein Network and System Biology at Seoul National University (SNU) at that time.

Neomics had been funded by Korean Development Bank Capital, Novartis Bioventures, Daewoong Pharmaceutical (Korean Pharmaceutical) and etc., and it is located in Suwon City of Gyeonggi-do Korea.

Neomics focuses some of our development resources on a new therapeutics and companion diagnostics for lung cancer. Recently, Neomics has been developing small molecular drug (SMD) candidates using our novel cancer drug target, AIMP2-DX2 found among ARS proteins as a cancer drug target. Current stage of research and laboratory testing is on preparing the top anticancer treatment drug candidate for clinical studies for lung cancer.
