Optical Microscopy
The imaging facility offers several confocal systems (two Leica SP2 and a spinning disk microscope fitted with a FRAP head) ; the installation of a high-speed random-access two-photon microscope (RAMP) is planned, as is the acquisition of two new confocal mi- croscopes. IBENS also houses two prototype PALM microscopes enabling resolutions of 10-20nm. The facility provides training in image acquisition and analysis (using Amira and ImageJ).
