Q’Max America Inc.

Q’Max America Inc. began operations in 2006 with the establishment of an office in Fort Worth, Texas. We initially started in the Barnett Shale with a new innovative technology known as the MudStripperTM (aka: Drilled Solids Stripping Unit – DSSU) in conjunction with Q’Clear, a Clear Water Drilling Fluid (CWDF) system. To the end of 2011, we have drilled more than 1200 wells in Texas and SE New Mexico for more than 16 different operators. We currently employ about 90 staff in the Southwest region and look forward to continued growth in these and others basins throughout the United States.

Along with the MudStripperTM, Q’Max offers full-service drilling fluid solutions for every need. In addition to a range of oil-based and water-based fluids, we have supplied proprietary systems such as the CBMax™ (for Coal bed Methane) and QMaxDrill™ (highly inhibitive amine-based) systems that allow our customers to drill challenging horizontal formations with confidence. With support from our parent company, Q’Max Solutions Inc., with 1200 employees globally and significant experience drilling on land and offshore, Q’Max America Inc. can provide you the first class service, technical support and cost effective drilling fluid solutions that customers have come to expect from Q’Max worldwide.

Since initial entry into the USA via the Barnett Shale, Q’Max America has expanded into the Permian Basin with a regional office in Odessa, TX, and currently operates 19 MudStripperTM units in Permian, EagleFord and Oklahoma. The MudStripperTM and Q’Clear system have significantly reduced the volumes of water required to drill and complete wells in this parched region. The MudStripperTM has proven to be a viable alternative to traditional Solids Control (SC) options and continues to deliver other benefits as well:

Replaces traditional SC equipment on location.
Reduce the size of the typical reserve pit in the Permian Basin from 75,000 sq/ft down to 25,000 sq/ft.
Provides financial benefits in both closed loop or traditional drilling and waste handling practices.
All fluid is 100% recycleable at the end of the well.
Generates longer Bit & Liner life because the circulating system removes 99% of drill cuttings before returning the fluid back to the active.
Improves safety exposure due to non-hazardous nature of the Q’Clear fluid and reduced number of trucks on the roads.
