The Genomics Core Technology Unit at Queen's University Belfast was established in February 2005. The Unit aims to provide a high quality, cost effective, fast and reliable genomics service to research groups within QUB as well as to external users. The main ethos of the QUB Genomics CTU is to offer a centralised service that facilitates and enhances all current and future QUB research programmes in the areas of genetics and genomics and to reduce costs to the university by limiting the need for capital investment in specialised equipment for individual research groups.
