Transnetyx provides affordable, fast, and accurate genotyping that has enabled many biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and research institutions to better devote their resources to their research goals.

Highlights of our service include:

  • 24 and 72 hour turn-around times
  • Easy on-line secure submission (less than 5 minutes)
  • Printable results reported via our secure website
  • Real-time PCR processing with QC
  • 99.97% accuracy (based off of over 50 million reactions)
  • Over 11,000 assays already designed and free assay design

Genotyping is a significant source of cost, labor, and resources. Standard genotyping has error rates as high as 10% adding to costs and inefficiencies. By outsourcing genotyping to Transnetyx companies like yours have been able to achieve these goals:

  • more efficiently breed scientifically relevant animals faster (lowering caging costs and increasing effective breeding space through early culling)
  • more accurately genotype their animals (removing much of human errors common with pedestrian PCR)
  • reallocate resources to focus on research (allowing researchers to focus on what’s relevant—their research)

Our quick turn-around time allows you to more efficiently breed your animals, effectively increasing available caging space and reducing caging costs. Our fully automated system eliminates errors due to normal, lab-based screening. We process each sample twice and run a housekeeping gene concurrently with each sample to ensure reaction integrity and normalization of signal to that gene. This helps us identify breeding irregularities, gene jumping, and other issues not capable of by standard gel-based genotyping.
