Bioimaging

  • In Vivo Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Imaging Image tumor progression or conduct biodistribution investigations in experimental animals injected with a radiolabeled molecular probe.
  • In Vivo Whole Tissue and Animal Imaging Visualize, analyze and track light producing reporters in whole animals.
  • In Vivo Whole Tissue and Animal Imaging Analysis Analysis of images from in vivo studies produced using PET, MRI, CT, etc. in a variety of species.
  • Luminescence Imaging Monitor biological processes and pathologies using reporter proteins such as firefly and Renilla luciferase.
  • Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Imaging Use PET imaging with radioactive agent to visualize and measure metabolic processes in the body.
  • SPECT-CT and PET-CT Imaging Get images that combine the spatial context of metabolic or biochemical activity with an anatomic image.

Chemical and Compound Analysis

  • Computed Tomography Visualize the internal features of solid objects.
  • Fluorescence Mediated Tomography Visualize the spatial distribution of fluorescencently labeled probes and substances.
  • Optical Tomographic Imaging Use multiply-scattered light to reconstruct images of illuminated objects.

Clinical Trials

  • Pharmacokinetic Studies Design a study that observes the time course of drug absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion, as means to test the safety and effective therapeutic management of drugs in an individual patient.

Discovery Chemistry

  • Radiochemical Synthesis Radiolabel small molecules, peptides, cytotoxics or antibody drug conjugates for DMPK analysis.

Disease Models

  • In Vivo Technologies Models Carry out EEGs, cognition assessment, microdialysis, electrophysiology, MRI, ultrasound and tomographic analysis.
  • Microsurgery in Rodents Outsource microsurgeries projects required for testing new therapies on a rodent model.
  • Non Obese Diabetic Mice Use a single animal species to create one or more disease models for diabetes.
  • Obese Mice Use a single animal species to create one or more disease models for diet-induced obesity and type II diabetes.

General in vivo Toxicology

  • Single Maximum Tolerated Dose (MTD) Rat Study Use rat models to determine the MTD of a drug candidate by a single administration in a 7 day period.

In Vivo Pharmacokinetics

  • Ocular Pharmacokinetic (PK) Screening - Rat Conduct a pharmacokinetic screening study in rats that measures the absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion of your compound following ocular administration.
  • Pharmacokinetic (PK) Screening - Mouse Run pharmacokinetic studies in mice that measure a drug's absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion.
  • Pharmacokinetic (PK) Screening - Rat Run pharmacokinetic studies in rats that measure a drug's absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion.

Model Development

  • Knockin Mice Make targeted insertion of a gene of interest into a specific gene locus to create transgenic mice.
  • Knockout Mice Create transgenic mice that are genetically engineered to inactivate a gene or set of genes.
  • PBMC Humanized Mice Study and evaluate compounds for infectious diseases and graft rejection.

Oncology Models

  • Immuno-PDX Utilize the patient-derived xenograft for drug response profiling and biomarker discovery of immuno-oncology drug candidates.
  • Xenograft Models Measure therapeutic endpoints in cancer models using tumor cells transplanted from a donor of a different species.

REACH Services

  • OECD 451: Carcinogenicity Studies The objective of a long-term carcinogenicity study is to observe test animals for a major portion of their life span for the development of neoplastic lesions during or after exposure to various doses of a test...
  • OECD 474: Mammalian Erythrocyte Micronucleus Test The mammalian in vivo micronucleus test is used for the detection of damage induced by the test substance to the chromosomes or the mitotic apparatus of erythroblasts, by analysis of erythrocytes as sampled in bone...

Safety Pharmacology

  • Self Administration Study - Rat Conduct a study to investigate the potential addictive characteristics of your compound in rats.

About this supplier

In the supplier's own words, as listed in the Scientist.com network.

MediLumine has licensed a preclinical technology developed by scientists originally at the University of Michigan that solves several key problems associated with contrast enhancement in micro-CT imaging.

The technology is comprised of iodinated lipids that provide contrast enhancement and a novel oil-in-water lipid nanoemulsion that selectively localizes the contrast producing lipids for small animal imaging. The Fenestra contrast agents are biodegradable and fully eliminated by the hepatobiliary system.
