MediTox s.r.o. is a private independent CRO dealing with pre-clinical R&D and having experience in variety of compounds and therapeutic areas, with an experts and associates teams capable to conduct a number of experiments in full compliance to GLP standards and in compliance to another international guidelines (EMEA, ICH/VICH, OECD, US FDA, US EPA/OPPTS, ISO, AAALAC), closely connected with pharma and biomedicine industries in the Czech Republic, EU countries and USA.
Main activities:
MediTox s.r.o. is a GLP-certified Contract Research Organization dedicated to pre-clinical research and development. Before 1999 the facility was a part of The Research Institute for Pharmacy and Biochemistry (RIPB) with the main activity concentrated to pre-clinical and toxicological testing of new drugs developed at RIPB. In 1991, the facility has been certified according to OECD Principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) as the first testing facility in the Czech Republic. After privatization process in 1999, the company BioTest s.r.o. has been established based on former pre-clinical branch of RIPB.
