Our brtxDISC™ Program (Disc Implanted Stem Cells) is designed to offer a non-surgical cellular therapy for the treatment and relief of bulging and herniated discs. This alternative treatment for damaged discs, which utilizes stem cells to repair damaged tissue, represents a much needed therapy and offers a potential solution to the large population of back pain sufferers by addressing the gap between non-invasive and invasive surgical procedures.
Our ThermoStem® Program (Brown Fat Stem Cells) focuses on treatments for metabolic disorders, specifically targeting Type 2 Diabetes and obesity by using brown fat stem cells. Initial research indicates that increased amounts of brown fat in the body may be responsible for additional caloric burning (weight loss) as well as reduced glucose and lipid levels in the body.
Our brtx-C Cosmetic Program is based on the development of a human cellular extract that, per initial in vitro studies, when applied to human skin cells, appears to cause an increase in the production of collagen and fibronectin, which are proteins that are essential to combating the aging of skin. Potential cosmetic uses are being explored with third parties.
