Alion Pharmaceuticals is in the process of developing small molecule therapeutics to treat Central Nervous System Diseases.
Alion offers early stage pharmaceutical drug development services. These include, identification of lead compounds by computational chemistry and biophysical sceening techniques.
In addition to developing our own pipeline, we offer early stage lead discovery for various therapeutic targets. In particular, we offer a “one stop shop” for:
- Computer Aided Drug Design.
- Mass Spectrometry lead screening: a fast and efficient means of identifying molecules that bind to the target. Once identified, molecules may pass to biological assays.
- Hydrogen-Deuterium Mass Spectroscopy: identifies the region of the target that lead molecules bind.
- Chemistry Libraries and Synthesis.
- Pharmacokinetics studies by mass spectroscopy.
