Innovative Targeting Solutions Inc. (ITS) is focused on the development of novel human antibody technologies.

Although fully human antibodies are now validated therapeutic modalities, access to existing antibody discovery technologies utilizing transgenic mice and phage display is limited. In addition, these technologies use antibody repertoires that have been subject to negative selection, which results in the deletion of a large set of potentially therapeutically relevant antibodies. This inherent limitation of all in vivo-derived antibody technologies is overcome by ITS’s HuTARG™ technology, which utilizes an in vitro antibody generation method that is not subject to negative selection. In addition, unlike antibodies derived from in vivo sources which may contain somatic hypermutations, antibodies generated by ITS’s technology are preconfigured to be completely germline except in the CDRs. This advancement makes fully human HuTARG™ antibodies the most “human” of all fully human therapeutic antibodies by decreasing the likelihood of immunogenicity and completely eliminating the need for antibodies to be “germlined” prior to their development as human therapeutics.
