TargetEx Ltd (previously known as RecomGenex) is an SME working on the field of biotechnology. TargetEx Ltd. was established in 2002 and now the owners fully Hungarian shareholders. TargetEx Ltd. is offering complex services in the early phase of drug discovery. Core competences of the company are protein expression, cell and target-based assay development and HT screening. A few examples of the Company's clients are Gedeon Richter (Hungary), AstraZeneca (Sweden), Dyax Corporation (U.S.A.), Elbion (Germany) and Zealand Pharma (Denmark). The development of HTS assays is based on in house produced recombinant proteins. To produce recombinant proteins we have a well equipped molecular biology laboratory, bacterial and yeast protein expression unit, mammalian and insect cell culture laboratory. We are equipped with a protein purification platform as well.
