Pharma Observatory a Scientist.com platform

AI market intelligence search

Pharma Observatory and AlphaSense

AlphaSense is a horizontal AI search platform over filings, transcripts, broker research and expert calls with a life-sciences franchise. Pharma Observatory is an entity-resolved canonical model across trials, drugs, companies, sites and investors.

Individual plan, $249/seat/mo. Card required.

What AlphaSense is

AlphaSense says it "is not a pharmaceutical database, nor is it intended only for life sciences customers", and describes itself as "an AI-driven market research platform" with a library of premium and proprietary content. source

Its pricing page says the platform aggregates "over 500+ million documents", including regulatory filings, earnings call transcripts, global equity research, expert call transcripts and life sciences content "covering clinical trials, biomedical research, global public health information, and more". source

Its life sciences page lists five use cases: competitive intelligence, market opportunity assessment, regulatory and market intelligence, strategic partnership and M&A intelligence, and benchmarking pipelines and portfolios against a customer's internal data. source

What Pharma Observatory is

Pharma Observatory is a connected model of public biomedical evidence. Trials, drugs, companies, people and sites are each matched into one record, and figures on record pages link to their source records. It holds 94+ data sources, 930 million+ source records, 600,000+ trials, 380,000+ investigators, 1 million+ research sites, 350,000+ organizations, 790,000+ publications (rounded down to two significant figures; each is defined on the data page). Public trial data comes from ClinicalTrials.gov.

Search finds a trial, drug, condition, company, investigator, site or target by name, code or keyword and counts the matches by type. It searches records, not documents such as transcripts or broker research.
