Pharma Observatory a Scientist.com platform

Clinical trial and pipeline data

Pharma Observatory and Citeline

Citeline's Trialtrove, Pharmaprojects and Sitetrove curate a very large expert-curated trial, pipeline and site/investigator corpus; Pharma Observatory resolves a public-source entity model with source links on record pages across trials, sites, investigators, companies and investors, at a smaller scale.

Individual plan, $249/seat/mo. Card required.

What Citeline is

Citeline sells Trialtrove, Pharmaprojects and Sitetrove. It describes Trialtrove as "curated data on trial design, enrollment, and execution" that clinical teams use to plan and benchmark trials. source

Sitetrove is described as curating data "from over 60,000 sources", with "over 530,000 investigators and more than 190,000 clinical trial sites spanning 185 countries". source

Pharmaprojects is described as "a comprehensive database of over 90,000 drug profiles, including 20,000 in active development". source

What Pharma Observatory is

Pharma Observatory is a connected model of public biomedical evidence. Trials, drugs, companies, people and sites are each matched into one record, and figures on record pages link to their source records. It holds 94+ data sources, 930 million+ source records, 600,000+ trials, 380,000+ investigators, 1 million+ research sites, 350,000+ organizations, 790,000+ publications (rounded down to two significant figures; each is defined on the data page). Public trial data comes from ClinicalTrials.gov.

Each trial is one record. A trial page carries the registry's sponsor, phase, status, enrollment and dates, links the lead sponsor to its company page, and has tabs for eligibility, results, endpoints, demographics and investigators.

A clinical trial page: title, lead sponsor, phase and status chips, enrollment and date figures, and an overview table
A trial page (a phase 3 lung cancer study): sponsor, phase, status, enrollment and dates above the overview. Captured from production data on 2026-10-08.
